Write CSS only — no HTML, no JavaScript, no @import, no external fonts.

Technical rules — the site theme fights weak CSS, so follow these exactly:
1. The theme styles everything with `body.buddypress { ... !important }`. To override anything, use the selector `html body.buddypress` and add !important.
2. EXCEPTION for animated backgrounds: put them on plain `html { ... }` with NO !important anywhere in that rule, and add `html body.buddypress { background: transparent !important; }` so the theme background doesn't cover it. (CSS animations cannot move any property marked !important.)
3. Never use !important inside @keyframes — browsers silently ignore those lines.
4. Organize the CSS into clearly labeled sections with comments — /* === BACKGROUND === */, /* === COLORS & FONTS === */, /* === ANIMATIONS === */ — so I can turn any section off by deleting it.
Keep all text readable, don't hide the site navigation or buttons, and keep animations subtle enough not to hurt anyone's eyes.Want music or video?

The fine print
Only CSS is accepted — scripts are automatically stripped for everyone’s safety. Your styling only affects your own page. The Community Covenant applies to your page design too: no hateful or harmful imagery. Stuck? Ask in the forums.
